Meet one of the first women in America to work on TV and radio. Co-host of a local children's show "Popeye Playhouse" at Miami's WTVJ during college, Ellen became an on-air talk radio host and part of the production team of NBC's "Tonight" show in NYC. She worked in sales, marketing, advertising and publicity positions for large companies. Ellen hosted her own daily radio call-in talk show at WIOD (Miami) and later at WEEI and WMEX (Boston). Ellen and her husband moved to Portland, Oregon 15 years ago. Formerly a volunteer for Oregon Public Broadcasting's audio reading service, Ellen contributed entertainment reviews to KGW.com, the website of NBC-TV affiliate Ch. 8. Ellen is a spry 74-year-old mother, grandmother, health advocate and friend to many 'Bonus' children and grandchildren.
